Hello friends in TE.

It is strange to see an orchid tree. This one around my workplace was starting to bloom. The tree is known as Bauhinia blakeana or Hong Kong orchid tree.

The most beautiful orchid tree. The tree was originally described as a new species in 1908 after being discovered on the near Hong Kong around 1880 and was named after a Hong Kong governor Sir Henry Blake who had a strong interest in botany. The tree is of medium size with alternate large heart shaped leaves. Large deep-purple flowers appears from January to May. The beautiful display of slightly fragrant orchid-like blooms makes the tree so desirable for the landscape. The flowers attract butterflies and bees. The species is believed to be sterile and will not set seed so the plant will not drop long pods as other orchid trees do. The flower of Bauhinia blakeana was adopted as the emblem of Hong Kong in 1965.

This a bohinia flower, it comes a middle size tree and give average size peas
very good close up and pov

we have a similar native tree here in my hometown, it has white flowers and it is named "cow-feet" because the shapes of its leaves.
I liked the framing you used it, catching the flower between the trunks, good light and sharpness to show the beauty of the flower.

That delicacy and beauty of this picture, the little flower is perfect with its beautiful color and large leaves, which stand magnificently on the bottom a bit fuzzy, which enhances but this branch.

Classic example of macro-closedup photography, nicely positioned of a clinical shot The entire field, far & near gives a correct visual perception and feeling in our brain. Fabulous clarity, the detail is perfect of a lovely orchid that looks excellent in green setting particularly I love the crispness and such splendid colors. Great cool shot with the right treatment, Congrats.

Not a picture seen here but...a subtle floral photographic poem, masterfully depicted with soft tones and pastel colors.
Those three "parallel diagonals" are most impressive!

Very good close- up captured of a wonderful flower with incredible elegant designs and colors like a poem together large leaves. I like it very much.
