I would like to take this opportunity to share this beautiful sunset shot from my office window. The view of the buildings around are located in the centre of Johor Bahru town just across of causeway bridge to the island of Singapore.
Why I stated the title mentioning a long gone sunset? Well, the reason is because for the past few weeks, Malaysia and Singapore are affected by the open burning haze from Indonesia that resulted in very bad and unhealthy air. The sky is covered by thick haze with no appearance of clearly seen sunrise, sunset or even the moon. After weeks of complains from Singapore and Malaysia government to Indonesia counterparts, finally they did something to stop the annual open burning which happened for the past almost 10 years. In the coming months, there will be some major sit down talk between the 3 countries government to resolve this annual issue once and for all.
