Photographer’s Note
The thick metal door to the jail cell. Heavy, solid, and built to withstand any attempt to break it open by criminals who had the occasional thought of breaking out.
Every day, other than the four walls of the cell, this is the other thing the prisoner looks at. There's a small opening at the door which provides the only view outside.
Yes, freedom is taken away from them; but is freedom enough to replace the lost lives and property that these prisoners took away before they were jailed? I don't think so.
Picture desaturated, levels adjusted and grain were added for effect. Spooky ain't it?
