Parit Jawa, a small fishing port at west coast of West Malayisa, is well known locally for its sea food and the wild birds meanly LA Stork and Egret. Far away, you can see tankers sail along the Strait of Malacca between Sumatra and West Malaysia. This photo was taken during the outing organised by Nature Photography Society of Singapore.

Wonderful shot. I like your choice of B&W. The shadows underneath the birds make the shot happen. Very well done!

Beautiful and classy B/W shot. The way these birds are layed forms a nice perspective leading to the little pole and the beacon. Very well done Mike. If you allow the workshop option, I would like to work on this one.

Also I like your choice of B&W. Itīs a very graphic and very...great. I like the symbolism of the oil(?)tanker and sea-shore with the birds...

very nice shot, I like the contrast between the rough beach and the contrasty mirrorlike water. the birds are perfectly positionned.
the tanker in the background gives a good context info and a classic Malacca straits feel.

Beautiful! Amazed how you match the wild birds with the boats that suggested time. Wonder how it looks in different cropping. cheers.

Hello Mike, your B/W is very elegant and i like the disposition of the elements; the silhouettes of the birds, the edge of the sea, the horizon, the petroleum al fund.... a good one montage and a good work, I congratulate you.
A hug from Spain ....... Paco
