Dear TE friends

Apart from attractive architecture of the Mabul Island resort and nicely plant decorated walkways and viewing platforms, the natural surrounds cannot escape to be constantly explored by first time visitors to the island. Almost at clusters of chalets, landing steps are provided for swimmers and divers to try the waters. Sipadan Island, which is within sight from here, became world famous after Jacques-Yves Cousteau made his documentary story. Three islands here namely Sipadan, Kapalai and Mabul are divers' heavens. Barracuda Point is voted the world's best diving site.

One Sipadan diver's remark :'The diving here at Sipadan makes everywhere else I've dived seem like a waste of time. If you were to walk five metres off the beach on the north end you would drop 670 metres straight down. And this makes for amazing diving.'

Thank you for viewing. Regards, Bill

Hi Bill.

This is a great picture. I think you have a great composition here with the bridge and the water. Really good colours here as well!

Well done!

Blair

Bill
Une photo pour catalogue de vacances et qui donne envie de se plonger dans ces eaux d'une incroyable limpidité.

Bill,
it has been quite a while since I looked into your gallery and I see now that I missed a lot in this time. The composition of the image is great with the leading line of the pier at ther ight side and the openning at the left with the cristal clear water. Very pristine - a heavenly view. Perfect framing with the red flowers in the foreground. I just think that you could have worked a little bit better on the sharpness. Did you have a lot of wind on a tripod or is that the result of compression to the TE 200kb's?
Peter

Hello Bill,
Nice and colorful image, taken from the best point.I like the silence of the place and the very nice feeling of summer that gives to me...

greetings,
Thomas

Hi Bill
Very attractive colours in all this picture. The sea and the sky are sensationals. About these flowers its complete the composition.
Regards
maria

Bill,
Your composition is outstanding here with the dock leading the eye through the shot. The lighting and colors are outstanding with excellent sharpness and DOF. The colors in the water are great complimenting the sky nicely. The red flowers on the dock add nice contrast to the blue tone of the rest of the shot.
TFS,
Asa

This is a very attractive and carefully composed image of, what I imagine, it a rather upscale resort. the colors are vivid and the angular composition works very well, the strong angle leading the eye into the frame and the other horizontal and dividing the frame. I think pictures with strong geometry, like this one, often work very well. regards kevin

Hello Bill,

Three good elements in this picture Bill.
The red flowers in foreground are very nice.
We see the pier to the right this gives a lot depth and perspective.
Generally the houses and the sea care for a nice composition and lovely presentation.
Very well done, thanks for sharing.

Have a nice weekend,
John.

Hello Bill!
Lovely place! Excellent composition! Beautiful colors and lights! Nice scene!
TFS, Best regards, Zorica

Hello Bill. You have chosen the right spot capturing this pier with well lined bougainvilleas giving depth to the composition. Those chalets make perfect horizon again. Nice pleasant sky complementing the postcard perfect view. Regards. Jusni

Ola Bill,
Que lugar fantástico para passar umas semanas de ferias, lindas estas casas dentro de agua , muito bonitas as cores, parabéns
Um abraço Gonçalo

This is a pretty and strong compo, Bill... the key probably the inclusion of the red flowers; excellent perspective, delicate ripples and a nice busy sky. The light is nice too, congratulations, Daniel

Bill, this is a fine shot. I had seen pictures in the travel brochures for dive travel to the area but had never seen a first hand shot. I must be as lovely as the brochures make it out to be. Your shot is ggreat, I love the water dept change out toward the bungalows in the left side bg. Definition on surface movement and the sky is also very good.

Greg
