Volcano Eruption
 |
|
| [Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note |
At first sight, this seems to me like a volcanic eruption. But it is just a cloud over one of the lower peak among others in the highland region around Mt Kinabalu - the highest peak in SE Asia at 4095m above MSL.
At the altitude where this shot was taken(about 1300m above MSL), the temperature is several degree cooler, a nice get away from the hot and humid conditions down at Kota Kinabalu, the state capital of Sabah.
Thanks for viewing.
Regards

Wow, this is a very good shot, captured at the right moment. The cloud over the peak really makes think about a volcanic eruption. Being in altitude we can see that the air is must cleaner and the colours are beautiful. Well done.

hi Alfred
Nice view of valley and bright sky with your featured cloud. Somehow the half valley/sky combo is set by the cloud which I might prefer to move right by 1 inch.
Good shot.

Hello Alfred,
That cloud and where it is placed makes it look like a volcano eruption. Well seen & very well captured. Nice scene & lovely colours.
Thanks
