A bright sunny morning at 9.47am. No polariser used.

Why does the branches grow outward? It looks like ballet dancing, bending over and outward in graceful pose.

My favorite tree and I have been watching her over the past few months. She lives again, let's hope for that. One of original trees left untouched when the area was cleared for new landscape works. It dried up for a while, but seems like young leaves begin to grow slowly again. She definitely needs care and attention.

Such a beautiful tree, probably fit to be given a nice name. Any suggestion?

My 1st shot of this tree was Oct 25, 2007. I will be watching this tree every now and then.

Thank you for looking and reading. Regards, Bill

This is my 88th post and the Chinese believes 88 is a lucky number, so go figure how it will be!

Live and Let Die - Paul McCartney lyrics

When you were young and your heart was an open book
You used to say "Live and let live"
(You know you did, you know you did, you know you did)
But if this ever changing world in which we live in
makes you give in and cry
Say "Live and let die"

(speed up)

(Live and let die)
Live and let die
(Live and let die)

(a tempo)
What dose it matter to you
when you've got a job to you got to do it well
You gotta give the other fella hell!

You used to say "live and let live"
(You know you did, you know you did, you know you did)
But if this ever changing world in which we live in
makes you give in and cry
say "Live and let die"

Hello Bill!

Nice, well-composed shot! TFS.
Imho, it has too much contrast.

yes too much contrast indeed
a very nice sky as BG
regards
jo

Hello Bill,

Well observed of these nature creation and well captured in superb perspective. The outward sways make this a fuller composition against that stunning cloud on the blue sky.

Well done and best regards,
Jusni

Hello Bill very nice shot the trees are very beautiful and so is the blue sky. Very bright and clear shot with very well captured vivid colors. Thanks for sharing.

Hi Bill,
It was good to see series of shots of this tree. I adore your observation to your favorite subject.

As Jusni mentioned about outward sways... I think that is one of the reason why this tree attracted you, and me.

The clouds on the BG, was also giving a more dramatic element in this shot. Very nice colors, too.

Bonsoir Bill
C'est un beau cliché. Ces arbres majestueux ont beaucoup d'allure et se détachent de belle manière sur le bleu du ciel.
Merci pour le partage et bonne soirée.

Hello Bill,
A nice capture of these interesting looking trees. The contrast has perhaps been over-emphasised but still nice to see.

Hi Bill,
Beautiful lines to the great trees seen stretching towards the brilliant blue sky and its lovely wispy clouds. The green and blue contrast beautifully in this image of great detail and sharpnnes. Indeed it should bring you luck in the coming new year.

Hi Bill,
Grat shot!!!Absolutely stunning view. Looks like an oil painting. However, I dont like the footer. I think they take away a bit of essence of a shot. Its my personal opinion though. The shot really looks wonderful.

Sagarneel.

hello Bill,
first of all, best of luck and great next 88 posts :)
as to this photo - the way you show the tree it certainly looks like dancing, I like a lot how the branches stand out against the blue sky, that contrast makes them look particularly delicate. I'd probably use less sharpening, but that's really a minor point, I like the photo as it is.
best,
Kristine

Hi Bill. Excellent photo. I love the contrast between the smooth sky and the sharp tree branches. Good colour and detail. Thanks for sharing.
Cheers, Paul.

Hi Bill,

Great one. Bare trees are for a great subject in my oppinion. This oen has a very unique special feature. As usual you have a great sky as background

Hello Bill,
thanks for your contributions towards improving my shots. Reaally appreciate your thought and guides. My weaknesses are the points that you have mentioned in the padi field scenes. Youre right. I really appreciate what you had noted. Do critique as I need them to improve my skills and to extinguished my carelessness.

As for your photo, they above my class to comments. Just they wonderful and a manifestation of a good photographer.
