Hej Gert,
as usual, the same "traditional" question: what has become of these children since that time? I'd like to think that their life is good now. But who knows...?
Very good capture presenting an example of daily life and a bit of the local "architecture".
The children don't seem to bother about a foreign photographer taking a photo of them. At a quick glance, it may seem that only one girl seems to have paid attention to you, but it appears that she's looking in a different direction..
I wonder how close you were to them when taking the photo.
Kindest regards,
Elena

I bet little has changed here in the 33 years since you took this image. They were probably totally unaware they were living a hard life. I imagine you are having a wonderful nostalgia trip as you browse your negatives for scanning.

Hej Gert,
I sat for a long time and looked at the thumbprint here, just to contemplate the compositione here, not looking at any details. This picture seems to be an example of the perfect thirds! The bottom part, being one third of the picture, is divided into exact thirds by the poles here! I didn´t know that you knew of this famous rule, so many years ago... Well, then I looked at the details and there are many fine things to say about those as well, but that has already been said by others here.
Kind regards
Gunnar

Hi Gert, Typical house, like the ones in Cambodia or laos. It seemed to me that to build it you do not need much time. Nice baskets , maybe for fish? Nice kids. More than thirty years passed. How the village looks like now? I suppose it did not changed much. The girl has probably grandchildren by now.
Thanks for sharing

Hej,Gert,
I am admired by your photojob again. The excellent reporting shot!
Most likely, these people both live today here ,and already their children stand on this stage.

Nic eone. I suppose now it's an anthropological shot. Still, there are people living like this among the aboriginal tribes, plus the satellite dish. What i like about these traditional houses is how cool they are inside. Regards. Klaudio.

Hello Gert. It is impressing to see old black-and-white photos. The motives are the same as today. Nevertheless the old photos have their attraction. The children are long adults. Altogether aworth seeing documentary photo. Regards, Wolfgang.

Hello Gert,
Ah, another classic from the good old days, thanks for making an effort to share some of these with us.
This is depiction of the way life use to be and still is somewhere, living in such poor condition. Great quality for a scan. My complements.

Great large scene of daily life.
I like it.
Maybe-if this photo were mine-I would crop the top of this wooden house.
Best regards. Grazyna.
