Photographer’s Note
It is fitting that Sarawak has a song like "Sayang Sarawak" which is a declaration of love for the place, its charms and its people. It is easy to feel at home in Sarawak, a melting pot of various ethnic groups, all tolerant of the differences and united by their affection for the state.
The photo was taken in the presence of Alfred and Bill who made my wife and me feel most welcome.

Hello Klaudio
When I saw Sarawak in the title, I was pretty sure you met Bill & Alfred ;)
laurent and me had also the great pleasure to meet them this year, but in Cambodia!
An interesting pov and suitable framing to discover a bit of this area! The pleasant light gave lovely and natural colors.
Cheers

Hello Klaudio,
Your photos of Sarawak, especially Kuching makes us feel proud of this city. The warm morning sun is doing exactly what we wanted, highlighting the strong colours to bring about a good definition. The presence of these boats in the heart of a city remind us of the traditional means of transport ever since when Kuching was a small town or village. There was a proposal to built a foot bridge across the river, which will render these boats redundant. That will be a shame as the boats provides an unique cultural flavour to this city.
Cheers

Hello Klaudio,
I have also posted a picture from Kuching today, but so different (and 33 years older). This is a nice composition of the river bending gently around the park and the pavilion. I remember that kind of sky from 1976, otherwise everything seems to have changed.
Regards,
Gert

Hi Klaudio
Nice image by the river curve, it gets depth from the little perspective and the light is very pleasant

Hi Klaudio.
What a beautiful light you have caught in this photo. It makes the colours look so rich, and the occasion so peaceful in a mellow sense - I'd say almost autumnal, except it's in the tropics. The wake of the boat is like a tangent to the gentle curve of the concrete wall on the left. Superb.

Andrew

Hello Klaudio,
Well composed, colorful, exotic... You've captured the legendary beauty of Sarawak. I believe, this is also the island where the oldest continuously surviving forrest/jungle (approximately a million years old) exists.
Have a good Sunday. Here in the East Coast of the United States it is just past midnight. It must be around noon in your world.
Warm regards,
Builent
