Photographer’s Note

It actually looks like the clouds are flowing out into the sea.

5 minutes into the flight from Kuching to Miri, I spot this river with clouds on top of it. I took a few photos of it before the plane climbed to higher altitude with scattered clouds covering the scenery beneath.

Photo was captured in RAW, adjusted the contrast and white balance, and tightly cropped the clouds from the rest of the photo.

Hello Edmund,
This photo is really interesting as it shows how clouds look from a totally different perspective than we use to look to them. The atmosphere of the photo is very special and air like. The composition is chosen in the right way. Maybe the effect is even better if the contrast is slightly increased.
