Photographer’s Note
19 March 2009, we met a TE member from Kodiang, a small place in the northern state of Malaysia. He always seems to wear his favourite Nikon cap back to front, armed with a D80 and large number of lenses, including some good ones from the pre-historic times. Well not really, pre-digital era. His name is JusniNasirun.
This was taken couple of months ago in his company among others, in the early morning across the Sarawak River from the City Centre. It has always stay in my "For posting" folder. Now I decided to give it a go.

Hi Alfred,
That's a good title, I thought is was going to be the Blue Mountains just outside Sydney.
Even though you have that huge white sky, for me, the shot works. The blue mountains cut a wonderful contrasting line against the white, it is quite graphic. Then the foreground with the warm light looks very pretty.
It's a place I'd like to visit, from your capture it looks to be unspoiled by modern demands.
Regards
Peter

Hello Alfred, When I first looked at this I did not notice the white sky, I think that is because as Peter said it works very well & comes together very nicely. A beautiful landscape, well captured with nice warm colours.
Thanks
Take care
Santo.
I wonder when peter might be thinking of a visit. Food for thought.

Hi Alfred, I'm glad you decided to take this out of your "For POsting" folder and show it to us. These mountains are amazing - even "bluer" than our Blue Mountains. And the water in the Fg provides a beautiful contrast. TFS and I hope you're enjoying your week, Lisa.

Hi Alfred. Thanks to you and Bill all of this looks familiar. I cannot wait to post my images from Sarawak, but i have decided to cover my trip in chronological order.I love the colours and the light here. There is what we call apresent pause in this scene, a peaceful time before the humans begin their rush. Regards. Klaudio.

Hi Alfred: How could I miss this? This is about me and thank you for your kind words. This early morning shot is just beautiful. I like the small ripples and the light catches on the wooden plank is so contrasting. The blue mountain is gorgeous in the backdrop. Thanks for sharing and thanks for your company in Kuching. Regards. Jusni
