Photographer's Note

A milky way and a lit tent at Kuala Suai or Suai Bay located in Miri, Sarawak. We drove from Miri to one village and park our vehicle there. From there we take a long walk about 5km along the and sandy beach to our campsite. We need to carry all our water supply handly because there is no fresh water there. This is our part for Malaysia Nature Society (MNS) Miri effort to documented a forest cutting effect due to palm plantation nearby Miri beach. It is also a nature lesson and knowledge sharing for youngsters because there are about 10 kids in our group.

Hi Shamsul,
I nearly passed over this dark image when I saw it as a thumbnail. I am glad that I opened it to have a closer look. I love the composition, subject material and colours even though some black parts of the image have no detail. Very well done.
