[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
From my Lundu trip series...

The tide goes down, the stream is dry with just trikle of water, the beach is quiet at this noon time of day, with handful of swimmers in the water at other stretch.

The boats look lonely and deserted, no outing into the sea. Partly also due to holiday, it is Hari Raya.

The color of the rich sandy soil is rich red/brownish, it gives growth to lush trees along the stream.

When the tide goes up, the water level almost reaches the rocks to the right, you can see the water marks from the dark color difference on rock side surface.

Play the music 'Only the Lonely' when you view this photo and you will get the mood.

The boat
.it is livelihood of fisherman here

The stream
.a source of water for bath, wash
.a path for boats to tow in for repair
.also for anchor and rest

The trees
.provide shades for birds and insects
.conserve as part of nature's process

.without them, it is not whole

The sea
.is a source of life
.gives livelihood to fisherman
.allows him to travel from point to point
.waves, tides, sand, rocks, all part of nature
.gives marine life

The sky/cloud
.sunrise, sunset, rain, mist, fog, vapor
.cycle of hydrology process
.source of light
.sun, moon, stars, galaxy at night

The wind
.cool sea breeze
.sets the sail
.creates the waves
.blows the trees and pollen grains
.sways the trees
.cools the man and his surroundings

Nature, creation of God.

nice strong colours. The right bottom seems a little blank with the sand I think.. otherwise overall a good picture.

Hi Bill,
This is a lovely scene especially with the boats and the nice curve leading to them is another plus. I also like the rocks in the background and the reflective stream all add up to make it so attractive. I did a WS just to give another version of a possible composition. Well done!!

A great mood : space, light, wind (I guess), colors... A place where walking must be a great moment and... souvenir as we can see here.

Olá Bill,
uma cena interessante essa do barco solitário e encalhado, a composição fico boa, assim como as cores, mas uma pena a compactação alta da foto, ela está com apenas 74Kb, enquanto o TE permite 300Kb, e isso faz uma grande diferença no resultado final de seu trabalho.
