Another amazing view from Malaysia. I like the interesting and quite innovative perspective, or rather the proportions between the sky and the ground - the effect is successful in my book, perhaps also because of the interesting framing. The scenery is of course, as always impressive.

I love the amount of lush greenery you find along the
coast of Malaysia! This is not an exception, with trees

The diagonal line of the river is an asset to the composition. The trees are a natural frame to the house. The point of view takes us toward the mountains in the background. There is a good contrast between the colors. Have a nice day.

Hello Bill, you are an excellent ambassador for Kuching & represent it very well on TE. You are correct in thinking that this house by the river would make a good subject & it has, but it has been made even more interesting because it is sitting under a beautiful blue sky. A lovely scene, well captured in good colour & detail.

Hello Bill,
I like this composition with so much focus on the sky. Very good colours. After leaving Indonesia in 1976 I spent several weeks in Sarawak, going up the Rejang river as far as Belaga. I will post some pictures from that journey in the future. I understand that Kuching has change tremendously since then, maybe also Kapit and Belaga are totally different places now.

Hello Bill,
this one looks very marvellous. The shot from the river provides a great point of view. It is hards to get too. Anyway the sky is lovely and the panorama is very exciting as it tells the geo factors of the shot. I like the look of that huge Malay house, quite interesting to note too.
