Photographer’s Note

A young tree with many fine roots growing radially out of the muddy sand at Santubong beach, shot using polarizer filter to bring out the contrast and saturation of sea water. It rained a little just before this shot, and it was cloudy. Quite interesting to note that this part of beach has less coconut palms and more of this type of tree everywhere. In less than 1 hour while we walked along this stretch, the tide began to rise and we had to retreat in case the water level rise too quickly. Perhaps one day we will try sunset here.
