Hello friends in TE.
Kuching is a city that grew up around the Sarawak River, which has led to the city having one of the most unusual public transport services in Malaysia - the tambangs.
Tambang is the local name for a sampan, a small wooden boat about 5 metres long, with a pitched roof covering bench seats that run along either side of the boat. The tambang has two main sources of power, a small single-cylinder diesel engine and a pair of forward-facing oars which are also used to assist with steering. The tambangs are still an essential component of Kuching's public transport network, linking the Malay kampungs on the north bank of the Sarawak River with the Kuching Waterfront and city centre on the south. They are heavily used by commuters, housewives and schoolchildren, saving a lengthy detour via the bridge at Satok. They are also a great way to discover the city and its people.

nice the view as the good placement of the native Tambang boat in the frame with the owner to be on it.
I like the pink colour roof that contrast perfect with the other colours of image.

J'aime bien la diagonale que forme l'embarcation dans l'image, par contre, la luminosité est un petit peu trop forte à mon gout et fait disparaitre les contrastes.

boats are always worthwhile subjects for the photographer. Here you have found a very interesting example. The image is very well composed and the perspective is excellent. My compliments also for the notes!

Hello Jusni. Here you show a colorful photo. In particular, I look at the signs on the roof of the photos. Since I can only say that the picture is traditional and modern at the same time.

I like very much your composition that has placed the tambang in an elegant diagonal. The dynamism of the perspective and the boatman's concentration ahead make the square frame look bigger, you've managed the sense of space superbly. The reflection enhances dynamism and sense of motion, The chromatic palette and its contrasts are rare and attractive. Congratulations and thank you!
All the best, have a great day,

The reflections on the water are assets to the composition. The point of view is showing the détails and colors of the tambang boat with the publicity. The low light does not hurt the output of the colors. Have a nice day.

interesting view of this typical small boat, it looks like a floating house.

The colour of the sampan is eye catching to say the least! The roof is also a good space to advertise as we can see, since a lot of people uses the transport means. Well composed in a diagonal...the dificult light was handled well

This is simply stunning and dynamic shot in its simplicity by paying more attention to minute details on the catchy boat. I love the softness calm feel and the shades of the water in a well framed shot with nice digonal touch while the boat man leads. Great effort.
