Photographer’s Note

My middle name in Chinese character is 春, which also happens to mean Spring; the Chinese New Year starts on the 1st day of Spring. So while the 15-day celebration of CNY is still ongoing till 9Feb, here is a decoration [neon light for night effects] in front of once-known-as Holiday Inn Hotel in town. This word is always in RED for CNY.

In our Chinese tradition as rooted in family line, my generation-level of is using this word as the middle name for mostly the men, while the women do not need to follow the family-tree mainly because the women will marry and adopt the husbands' family tree for names of children.
