Photographer’s Note
These three local Malay boys were enjoying their time just being together sitting on a huge rock much taller than their height, gazing at passing traffic on a weekend afternoon. It looks like they have nothing to worry about, though they may be from a relatively poor family. I think that is the best time of life.

Hello Alfred, firstly Happy New (Chinese)Year to you all, Secondly I think you are correct, a good time when you are young not too much to worry about especially if you have good parents they do do all the worrying & lastly nice shot with these there young ones sitting on this huge rock watching the world go buy from a good vantage point. Good colour & detail. Just one question how did they get up there?.
Thanks
Take care my friend

Hi Alfred,
One can be a silent observer of life...the traffic going by...but its more fun if you have friends with you, I think you are right...the boys are having the time of their lives...I mean the childhood.
Its a beautiful shot.
Thanks for sharing

Very well presented. The rock is the 'place' for these 3.
Every child has his own 'place' that he treats as special and most comfortable. Some call it a hide-out because it is hidden away, but this one is a different kind of 'my place', it commands a view and feels elevated to a higher position to show it is majestic. So every child in us will recall such kind of fond spots in our early lives.
As the child gets older, he forgets about this kind of favorite spot, perhaps due to pressure and obligation to make a living. How would the adult go back to that kind of childhood?

Hi Alfred.
Happy New Year!
A very nice shot, very sharp, and well saturated (almost too much, but not quite!) to show off the rich colour of the rock and the bright colours of the boys' clothes. I like the sharp detail on the rock, and especially the foliage that makes up the background. A simple but terrific photo. Hope you are enjoying your trip.
Regards,
Andrew

Hello Alfred,
I really like the very vivid and contrasting colours on this beautiful daily life - picture. The kids found a great viewpoint where they feel very well.
Best regards, Paul
