Photographer’s Note
In the previous photo of Deer Cave, I have taken the shot of the passage, looking in with the tourists coming towards me as relative scale. This photo you see here is taken from where the tourists were, towards the entrance. This is roughly about 200m from the entrance.
The silhouette of Abraham Lincoln's , is on the right side of the opening you see in the photo. You can see the full silhouette after the first 100m from the entrance.
This cave passage is very very cavernous. This photo can't relay much the magnitude of the spatial sense. You just have to be there to get a feel of it. If you had been inside St Peter's Cathedral in Rome, you might get some idea of the spatial awareness of Deer Cave, which is 5 times bigger.
To give you an idea the size of this cave, relate it to the tourists you see walking back to the entrance in this photo.
As tripod is prohibited, push your camera sensitivity to the highest it can go. Anything less than ISO 1600, you might get the image blurred. It is better to get grainy photo with higher ISOs than blurred. With the bright opening and Gothic darkness inside, you have better chance taking your reading from the darkest area. This would give you more details of the passage's twilight surrounding.

Hi Bani. A difficult but tempting setting for a photo shooting, in which you managed the strong light contrasts in a very commendable way. Good retention of detail and texture on the inside walls of the cave, while at the same time conveying the "light at the end of the tunnel" effect in a good way. Nice shot, as always well annotated.

Hi Rabani
I preferred this second post compared to the first post.
This post have the horizon thought and the light from the opening is something that makes the cave cavernous.
Yeah, the size of the cave is very very tremendously BIG.
By the way, why is tripod is prohibited in the cave??
As for Lincoln's silhouette, well, after spending long night hours composing design, I am disappointed that I couldn't noticed it.
It's a great job, Rabani.
