[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
The view of Mount Kinabalu on the upper reaches of the Western Plateau, where Low's Peak which is the highest peaks in the mountain is located.

You could see faintly at bottom right the three buildings at Laban Rata, the base camp of Mount Kinabalu. You could also see partly the faint line at right side edge of the photo, the trail to the summit. Sayat Sayat, the last shelter to the summit can be seen as a small squarish white dot at mid right of the photo.

Via Ferrata starts from Sayat Sayat circuiting down around the pale white rockface or Panar Laban and meets the summit trail near KM 6.5, about 300m above the base camp.

The pale rockface is also the granite face for rock climbing and abseiling activities on the mountain. The face is about 400m high.

This view was taken from the tallest hill in Kundasang, a small township 15 minutes after the Kinabalu National Park.

Assalamualaikum rabani. Awesome display of karsts at the peak of the frame. What is interesting about this rockface is that I started seeing human face embossed on it. I am wondering if it is just my imagination runs wild and maybe I'll dig a small ws just to share my illusion. Thanks for sharing and best regards. Jusni
