Love In The Jungle

Sabah still have big part of forest and natural sites although the capital city Kota Kinabalu is under rapidly developing. This photo I was shoot around one and half month ago, I hope these trees not growing so fast, so that tourists visit to Ranau Poring Hot Spring still can find out the 'heart' in the jungle at today, I was discovered it on the way to Canopy Walk. It was a rainy day, this photo in original color.

Hello Ally,

simple yet effective composition. The silhouettes of the trees work very well and the little tint of green give us an indication of life in this jungle. Nice framing and interesting short note.

The rain is making the color photo to look like a black and white picture. The heart shape made by the trees is an asset to the composition. The tree in the middle may be it is like an arrow piercing the heart. Well done, have a nice day.

The rainy weather has helped to make this almost abstract. By exposing for the sky the trees are in silhouette making a different and attractive image. Interesting heart shape!

it is a nice vision of the forest. I had took some photos like this here near my home, in the few areas covered with native forest and I know how difficult is to take a nice image under such conditions. Here I liked the shapes of these trees and your option for black and white

Very well seen and capture, this hole in the trees forming a heart with a tree inside it. I wonder if you put it as "color" by mistake or if it is naturally B&W. In any case, the high contrast B&W is very appropriate to the subject.
