Photographer’s Note

Here to show you the other side of Manukan Island near to changing room with narrow beach and lack of visitor. The oppesite city is Kota Kinabalu where the distance is 20 minutes by boat. Manukan Island is a tuorism island with only some Malaysians staying on it as waiter or waitress at restaurant and apartments (hotel).

A very nice place and a very nice view with an incredible depht o field. The FG with the sand and the rocks is rich in details well collected and give a great prospect effect. Good balance in the composition too with the trees on the right.

Hello Ally, it looks like a wonderful place to with its untouched atmosphere. The rock formation at the foreground seem quite interesting. I guess the sea temperature is convenient for swimming in 12 months of the the year.

So you did not change clothes when you saw this view? Using that time to shoot this lovely scenery. It looks like very hot at noon and you sure did not use umbrella to protect your skin?

Very quiet at noon as usual at Malaysian beaches where the scorching hot sun will get everybody hiding under shelter.

I like this scene. Very sharp and strong color contrast. Good work.

I believe that Malaysia should have a wide variety of landscapes of this kind, which I like very much.

It would be interesting if we shared more.

The seascape is magnificent, and the various shades of water, are striking and contrasting against the sand. Good frame and large depth of field.

A beautiful seaside view, as the surf is washing the rocky shore!
The dramatic sky tells about changing weather but it is hard to tell if it is to worse or better...
Good colour palette and fine details, a well framed view!

RThe capture of the wave coming to the beach is an asset to the composition. The point of view leads our eyes toward the city in the nackground which is giving depth to the photo. The trees and the rocks are framing well the beach. The quality of the light is enhancing the colors. Have a nice day.

Why complaining of lack of visitors? Is it not better to have a deserted beach for yourself? Your beach still looks nice and clean, no leftovers from others. That's what I call an idyllic beach. The fancy cloud boost the attractiveness of your picture. Good colors, DOF and framing. Well done
