Photographer’s Note
Whenever heavy rain falls, the amount of water in Sunsuron River rises quite dramatically, creating strong currents which carries rocks together with its flow. At some point, when the water flow decreases , these rocks accumulates and clogs the flow of water. So, once (or twice and sometimes more) every year, this Hitachi will come in and 'fix' the problem. During this time, the village people will come and use this opportunity to catch fishes, which is hiding under the rocks -- that tries to flee the 'war zone'... this picture tells the story...
