Photographer’s Note

*Jalan = road

So, this is the Kaingaraan Road facing toward Tambunan town. This is also the starting point for users who are going to Mt Trusmadi in Tambunan. The road connects with many dirt roads and logging treks, some which leads to other districts such as Keningau, Ranau and Sandakan.

The visibled clear sky with unique clouds formation attracts me to take this shot. I thought, many things in Tambunan may not see changes even in the next 10-15 years..

I like this one because of it's outstanding colours and the great sky - and I like the green landscape. The street leading into the scenery gives a good depth. A beautiful view ...

You have bright and colorful take here DA. Blue sky white clouds make an impressive landscape.And for Trusmadi, if you are there, don't forget to wake up around 4am. On a good morning, you can see the train of torchlights from climbers on Mt. Kinabalu.

Hi DA!
It's my first visit here, so hello and welcome to TE!
I like the way you composed the shot with the road leading deep from the corner of the picture. Anither line is such at the left (bushes), the horizon situated accoreding to the golden rule of thirds.
And of course you were lucky with the clouds!

The interesting part of this photo is that the contrast is at right place. Though if i were you, i would have taken this shot from a different POV. well, this is really nice to see.. everything has contrast..nothing much to comment.. TFS=)

Hi Nairelav,

This one is beautiful. Very nice green colours of a luxurious vegetation (in my land everything has turned grey due to winter and it' a relief for me to see that). Nice perspective created by the road. Compared to your other shots, the road is completely off-centered here and that's why I prefer this one. It's true that clouds are beautiful. You make me feel like going and visiting your nice country.
