[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Coconut trunks are extremely resilient to the forces of nature. Here, most of them are at least 20m high carrying a big cluster of coconuts at the top. Walking below them can be life threatening. I treaded through this path with both hands on my head in case the unthinkable happens.

The local cuts notches on the trunks as footholds to climb up to harvest the fruits

Thanks for viewing

Regards
Alfred

Hi Alfred,
A very ordinary scene, but you presented this with the elegance of an artist. The rhythm in the mesh created by the coconut trunks is nicely captured.

Hi Alfred, this is a very strong shot with great lines seen in those coconut trees. The portrait format works very well for this shot. The colour is good (that green is awesome), with very good sharp detail seen in the shot. I like how you have the man in the shot positioned, very subtly overpowered by those trees.

Thanks, John

Hey Alfred.

A lovely composition here, along with very nice colors and sharpness. The vertical "mode" works perfectly because it shows the dimensions of the trees, and the person is not just a good detail, but gives a sense of scale to the photo. The motive is invigorating and beautiful.

Enjoy.

Great photo!

Hello Alfred,
A very nice interesting scene with these tall palm trees dwarfing the well placed man. Beautiful colour and detail, the green is fantastic and notches on trees clearly visible.
Beautiful scene.
Thanks
Santo

I walked alone, down the beaten path under the tall, dense coconut palms in search of something far away. Life of a Sea Bajau!

Imagine and compare that to Poring. What do you see? Moment of truth is not far.

The light on the trunks and green makes this shot very striking. Good work.

tfs, bill

just like home..the only difference is that these coconuts were planted a little too close to each other. well managed light to clearly give the viewers a closer look on these trunks. the gentleman's inclusion adds the scale. when i was little i had my share of climbing one that when i got down, i had the price- mom whipped my A.. so hard..:-((
thanks for bringing back memories, Alfred.
