This is a Sea Bajau settlement located on the shores of the Mantabuan island, around 1,5 hour by speedboat from the town of Semporna. The village consists of around 10 houses, some of them placed on the beach, others built on stilts directly in the sea. When we arrived there a large group of children approached us. This photo shows some of them, along with a rickety house and some traditional simple boats that the Sea Bajau use for fishing and transportation.

A very natural view in soft delicate colours. And an interesting scene as well about the Bajau people.

I like a lot how you have composed the photo, the strong line of the shore between the water and the sky works very well the lead the eye through the photo. I also like the soft light and pastel tones with clothes of the kids [those who are wearing them :)] adding good colour accents. quite a contrast between what looks like a crystal-clear water of a tropical paradise on the one hand and simple (and certainly not easy) living conditions of the locals. very good and informative photo, I like it.
