[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
These are no warships, they are fisher boats used to fish on the South China Sea. For long, Bajau people dominates the fishing industry in Sabah. This is clearly written in history books in schools.

The waters that day was not at ease in Kudat, from afar can be seen the black heavy clouds approaching as if theres going to be a thunderstorm. ships are rested ashore. nobody dares to go out to fish, except for the photography man standing not too far... which is... me of course.

The scene was purposely taken under exposed to bring out some dramatic sense. i don't know if i manage to portray it here, but as far as i see this photo, nothing is wrong. what i like about this scene is the upward pointed radio antennas of everyship that seems like they are no ordinary boats. Well equiped with GPS, these fisher boats can travel far miles away from home out in the South China sea.
