Sabah 2007: Simpang Mengayau
 |
|
| [Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note |
Welcome to Simpang Mengayau, located in idyllic Sabah, East Malaysia. Also known as "the tip of Borneo", Simpang Mengayau is the furthest northern-most point of Borneo you can travel by foot before you come to the end of the land mass.
The journey there is an experience by itself... driving through villages and narrow, untarred roads as you turn off the main highway which leads to Kudat. Soon, the dusty bumpy roads give way to an amazing view of nothing but azure blue skies and clear seas that will take your breath away!
My only regret is not spending enough time here taking more photos!
Hmm... I just realized the horizon's slightly tilted... does anyone know a quick and easy way to correct this? |
