Photographer’s Note
Mud Volcano Bath is said to be good for the skin. It has skin friendly chemicals elements/compound which permeate into your skin and make it "rejuvenated".
Off the coast of Kuala Penyu, 30 minutes boat ride is Survivor Island or locally known as Pulau Tiga (Tiga Island). It is the same remote island where 16 survivors from the reality game show, in 39 days would outlast, outwit and outplay each other for the USD1 Million Prize Money.
20 minutes easy jungle trekking from Pulau Tiga Resort is one of the 2 mud volcanoes. If you feel like a dip and probably coming out feeling like a baby, slip in into the mud. The mud is fine.
Mud volcanoes are not true volcanoes and do not erupt lava or ash. They occur when mud and sand under the surface are squeezed upward by compressive forces and expelled at the surface.
They are commonly found in areas rich in oil and natural gas often appearing along zones of weakness in the Earth's crust.
Reposted: Cropping distracting triangular section on top right hand corner as suggested.

I suppose it's only in Malaysia where you can get a shot like this, without embarrassing the bathers. Good idea for a shot, and tempting place to visit.

Interesting picture with the nice contrast between the predominant grey mud and the rose-coloured faces

This is a fun shot. The faces just jump out from the monochromatic background. I really like the expressions; especially the woman in the lower right and the dark haired woman in the center.
Odd, I posted to this over an hour ago, then noticed the points hadn't gone up. I wonder if the problem is my server or the TE server?

Looks like fun! It also resembles an artistic exhibit in a way, with this metallic gray mud... So... did you put your camera aside and joined them? ;)

Yes! I like it a lot better with this crop. Now's a just a big sea of grey mud.

A very nice shot. I like this metallic grey in contrast with the rose cheeks and the lipstick of the ladies. And it sounds very happy. Thanks.

Yeah, much better than the first version. I really like it now, makes for a wonderful shot. You should really blow it up and print it poster size. Well done.

Great image here....well captured...
The smell of the place must have been a minor distraction though!

The selective use of color here is incredible, but the cropping should have included only a few of these people. One face is turned away, which a distraction, and another is partially cut off.
