After a day sailing around the tropical islands offshore from Sabah, a yacht pulls into the Marina just to the left side. Heavy rain comes down late most days but then the skies clear for a tropical evening.

The island in the distance is Munakan Island

Hi Murray,

The presence of the sailboat in the foreground has an effect of scale. The point of view takes our eyes toward the horizon which is giving depth to the picture. The early evening night is enhancing the colors and gives a peaceful sensation. Have a nice day.

i like the luminosity here and the late afternoon colors. Compo is good with just enough sky and boat balancing the scene well.

very unusual colors for a sea-shore-view, but very impressive, fine pov and a real fantastic depth and clarity, the yacht is an eye-catcher in this picture..

Hello Murray
The well positioned sail boat makes for a good starting point and stands out well against the sea. I like contrast between the water and the colored sky! The peaceful atmosphere is well conveyed! Others photos in ws are also interesting!
I wish I could have the 100-400mm lens ;)
