Photographer's Note
‘Filipino Market’ (stalls mainly operated by Filipinos) is situated along Jalan Tun Fuad Stephens (near SInsuran Complex). If one is looking for a place to buy souvenir stuffs in Kota Kinabalu city itself, like t-shirts, beautiful carved woods, key chains, costume jewelry, this is the place! The market sells both local handicrafts and Filipino ethic wares such as baskets, shells etc. Among other things which can be found in this market are pearls, rattan mattresses, sarong batik, sandals,… Visiting friends commented that PEALRS sold here are real cheap, ‘genuine’ and simply lovely! A perfect place to try out your bargaining skills! Lots of inexpensive items at bargaining price.

There's something about this photo, as if, it is not focused sharply Mary. With f/2.8, the Depth Of Field is pretty short and extra care is needed to focus at this aperture. I'd recommend ISO200 or ISO400 inside the Filipino Market as it is pretty dark, if not gloomy, especially along the central stalls.
