SUNSET ABOVE THE CLOUDS Photo

Photographer’s Note

The sunset above the clouds taken at the restaurant at Laban Rata which is 10,000 feet high on Mount Kinabalu. When we were having our dinner at the restaurant, we saw the sun setting and shining its rays into the clouds below us against the shadow of the mountain. The balcony of the restaurant was closed due to repairs work and i had to take this photo through the glass window. The cloud formation caught my eye. Just too bad some parts of this picture a little over exposed but generally the overall atmosphere of the sunset is captured here.

I love the clouds, but the photo needs something in the foreground (like a tree etc) to give the photo depth. Rgds.

Hello Tan,
An amazing shot! The towering clouds glittering in the setting sun are really beautiful. The silhouette in the foreground makes the glitter of clouds stand out.

I thought that you had to look at this scenery and to have been impressed by the glass of the house in a mountain that 3000m near and was high.
