Photographer’s Note
This is another view from the plateau area at about 12,000 feet on Mount Kinabalu - the highest mountain in South East Asia. The view is spectacular from up there. In fact i did not want to descend but just want to lie down on the rocky surface and enjoy the view below. The cool weather at this height and the breathtaking scene below makes the difficult climb all worthwhile.

Hi Tan
In 1989 we climbed Mount Kinabalu. As it looks nothing has changed, just more people have climbed it. I always think of going back, to make the trip again, but this time all in digital. You did not have the best day, even the sun did not came out. Nonetheless your picture is well framed and executed with great sharpness and DOF. The colors are fine considering the not perfect weather. Well done.
Best regards
Urs

Hi Tan, Good clear composition taken from very high on this beautiful mountain. I plan to climb this when back in Sabah. The climber looks rather exhausted after such a long climb. Very good job. TFS. Murray.

Hello Tan,
All my friends in Kota Kinabalu claim they have climbed this mountain, I wonder if they are only bragging..??!
This capture offers a good view of the landscape around the mountain, and it is always fascinating to stand on the ground and look down on the clouds...
Greetings,
Pablo -
