Sabah is the northern tip of the Island of Borneo. Just north of the equator with almost daily rain it has a feeling of closeness to nature everyday.

I have only been to Miri in Sarawak but I must admit the area is beautiful.
I like the calmness of your shot and I would not mind to relax on the white sand of the beach in the island in front.

Hi Murray,
The palm tree in the foreground is framing the tropical scenery. The mast of the boat has a graphical effect. The point of view leads our eyes toward the horizon and the islands which is giving depth to the photo. The good luminosity is enhancing the colors. Have a nice day.
