A wheelie from a member of an adventure race team as he approaches a photo shoot location, with a view of Mount Kinabalu in the background, in the late morning of the 3rd Day of Sabah Adventure Race 2008.
From here, it's all uphill mountain biking for about 10km before transitioning to running, starting from the entrance of Kg. Kaung. From this village, it is dirt road for about 6km passing by Kg. Lobong Lobong and Kg Kiau before the 2km uphill sealed road to Kg. Kiau Taburi.
The night before, the basecamp was at Kg. Malangkap Baru, roughly 8km from where this photo was taken. The flag off was at 8am. |

A great bright, clear and colourful photo of these 2 cyclists full of energy! I like the wheelie pose - you captured it well.

Hello Rabani,
You captured a great moment professionally. I like decision moment while using fill flash that show all details in your scene. Typical harsh green and blue sky makes your frame a richest and unique one with paved road that creates also good depth. Congratulations.
Best Regards,
Ertugrul

Excellent action shot.... I would have add a frame to make if more professional but the capture of the two bikers with the makalu as background pic is great! cheers, Tibo

Great photo of action at your finger tips, this moment capture adds a little fun of the riders. Good use of flash under the harsh light. I can see the rider behind is in shadow without flash.
Well done to bring such event on TE.

Good action shot, but oh, those wires. Photoshop them out!

Hi Bani,
Great action shot with a beautiful backdrop. I like your choice of the vantage point. I wonder you use multiple exposure in most of your action shot.
Regards
Alfred
Its been a long time since I've been on TE, can't believe I remembered my password too!
It is even more amazing that I see that you are still posting on here! Love the motion you've captured this at! Keep shooting!
