It was something that I would have had drawn when I was a kid at elementary.
Ask any child to draw a mountain, one or two houses and maybe a playing field and you would see something like in the photo, on his drawing pad right off the paintbrush. It is as if some of us were genetically programmed to draw it that way.
Mount Nongkok is the little mountain that sits by the heel of Mount Kinabalu. The natives around this part called it 'The Son Of Mount Kinabalu" and it stands by the Kiau Valley, where the Kadamaian River flows. |

The way I look at this view is finding the composition as its most interesting feature, with a title to tell about Mt Nongkok and the photo giving it full prominence. The rest of the scene just falls in place nicely with its good details. Well done.
