Photographer’s Note

Novices are given duties in the temples, from cleaning to carpentery to maintain the temples. Younger you are, more simple your duty. Carry and clean etc.Here they are sweeping the fallen down beaugonville leaves. In this photo I believe a school boy admires the novices and asks for help. He was refused and went away sulking. From his little face and gesture you can feel how keen he was.

I love the expression on his face, the way the light is hitting the 2 monks, the colors.

Yine çok sıcak bir o an fotoğrafı, ortam, çocuklar, birinin okul çocuğu diğerlerinin rahip olmasının verdiği kontrast, renkler, tapınağın göz okşayan renkleri, rahiplerin ve yerdeki yaprakların üzerindeki ters ışığın yarattığı etki, hepsi çok hoş, bir sürü hoş detay var yani, ancak hepsi bir aradayken tek tek elde ettikleri puanların toplamına ulaşabiliyorlar mı, emin değilim pek.. işin aslı olmayan ne diye soruyorum epeydir ama net bir yanıt bulamadım.. belki temel konuyu oluşturan figürlerin karanlıkta kalması, tapınağın onlardan rol çalmasıdır, ama dedim ya emin değilim. sonuç olarak insana, daha iyi olmalıydı dedirten, iyi bir fotoğraf. ellerine sağlık.
