Poukhoun is just a small town in the mountains, but it is also a junction town, where two highways meet. This lovely young lady, was busy doing here shopping in the very small market along the road. She was most gracious and allowing of my intrusion. This photo was taken with my cheap fuji camera, but I wanted to upload it because of the content. It took some cropping, but hopefully the quality is okay.
One wonders of course why the baby has blond hair?...something I actually didn't notice at first. I suspect the baby is 100% Laos, and his hair may darken in time.

An excellent scene from daily life. You captured a decisive moment while her eyes targeted to some where. This is a meaningful frame that shows how difficult life they have. The quality is your photo is better then many photos, please don't worry. Great colors and focus.

to my opinion an excellent shot. (I do not understand the number of points compared with the number of visitors - never mind, it is not a relevant scale!) The expression of the lady indicates the troubles that she as a woman and a mother challenges every day. (By the way, men have even more troubles when sent to market by their wives, I am afraid.)
P.S.: The eyes of the baby make his origin evident but his hair is strange, indeed.
