I didn't make it across the Mekong River, to see this, so tfs. Excellent shadow detail, & nice, subtle colour contrasts, between the reds & golds of the Wat, & the blue sky. Merci pour ce partage, et bon Vendredi!

Ok, I never came here. It's indeed an hidden gem, but also so typical from Luang Prabang. Good framing with the branches. The red flowers add charm to this peaceful place. I like the detail of that bright blue line on the roof standing out.

What a lovely little temple in such a beautiful setting, it's perfectly captured, the jacaranda tree in the front frames the pictures just so nicely. It seems so relaxing and peaceful. Oh, the charm of Laos, truely a hidden gem known only to few.

A beautifully natural shot! A soothing sky, with the lovely red flowers on the trees, that balance this one so nicely. The soft light really works here. It looks to me like there is more room to get a picture then in downtown Luang Probang, where I remember I struggled with getting a good POV on Wat Xieng Thong, although you managed it so well. I wish now, that I had taken the time to cross the river to see what was on the other side. Great job! Cheers,

Les couleurs sont ici superbes, saturées et renforcées par la légère sous-ex.

cette architecture religieuse traditionnelle de la zone a une élégance et une beauté impressionnantes.
Ton cadrage la met bien en valeur, en détachant sa structure et sa décoration dans une bonne perspective en diagonale.
J'aime les arbres qui l'entourent, avec quelques couleurs vivantes et attractives. Une bonne lumière aussi.

Bonsoir Vincent -

A very nice image and colorful with the blue trim on the temple and the red flowering tree's surrounding the building. To me the building feels deserted and is just a building for tourists. I think some locals in and around the building would add some life to the structure. Don't get me wrong this is a well executed image both in composition and technique, but it just seems a little static. Well done and presented.

Been there! A hidden gem indeed. There was another wat in the salt/lime mines near Xiang Men. There are some beautiful frescoes here. Good work in PP to restore some details out of the shadows especially on the pillars. Well done!

It looks a lovely and tranquil place. I find the POV very clever, the building is very nicely placed. As usual, good sharpness and colours. The shadows are indeed a bit dark, but on the WS are perfect.
