Photographer’s Note
Okay, it's a cliche! But one I'm rather fond of.
Taken in the grounds of Vat Xiengthong, the oldest temple in Louang Prabang, constructed in 1559/1560 A.D. by King Xayasetthathirath.
The weather was absolutely miserable that day (and the next, and the day after that... I guess the crescendo of the rainy season isn't the best time to visit Laos!), so I didn't get many pictures - my photographic expertise isn't yet good enough to deal very effectively with poor light.

Hello Charlotte
It is a cliche but a really good one. It's delicious to put this monk against three holly column and great contrast between their colors. I liked the compo. ihsan

Hey Charlotte,
You got a good one here. First of all, what attracts my eyes are the great color contrast between the real orange and the grey on the bg. This is a really typical image of daily life of monks in Loas or Cambodia or other part of Asia.
The only thing I have in mind is that the brightness of the overall scene may distract our romantic feeling away from this shot. So you may want to use filter in photoshop to lower down the strong light here. Warm filter would be a good choice. But again, this is my opinion. People value differernt things.
Nice presentation,
Sothy
