Photographer's Note

This is what most gas stations in Laos look like. The first time I saw one, it made me think of home made gasoline, bottled in old barrels. This is a small shop that is almost the vendor's home as well. You can see the tv in the background and the coffee pot over the table, along with other personal objects.
Only in bigger urban centers is it possible to see some normal gas stations, as the ones you see elsewhere in the world.
