Yes, the color is what I saw. SEA was experiencing more than normal pollution from agricultural burning and forest fires. When you can't get details go for silhouettes.

The pollution sure makes for some nice layers. We have this problem here in Seoul as well. Anyhow nice comp and colors. Well done.

I like the composition of this image very much. The tree has a very interesting form, shows a lot detail and is an anchor in the hazy landscape. I also like the soft gradiations of "grey" in the background hills. Thinking "grey", did you try this one in b&w with some toning? The haze might feel a bit less polluted that way.
