Photographer’s Note
This is not a picture that most people would expect from Laos. It is a picture from Luang Prabang, a true jewel of SE Asia. Once, it was the furthest outpost in the French Empire. This old capital of Indochine lives up to its UNESCO world heritage designation, and has a true French feel. Yes, there still are the motos, songthews, and open air markets that are expected in Laos, but the odd Mercedes, cafe, and villa make the city distinctly european.

Hi Tom!
Of course it`s Laos.
I remember this scene verry well. Here I had a good breakfast and good coffee and took a foto like you of this nice house and the Mercedes in front.I post a workshop.
Good night shot with good light and colors and also a verry good POV.
Thanks for bringing back good memories.

Hi Tom,
Beautiful warm colors in this photo. Old European architecture and the German 60s car makes it look very classic and situated in Europe. Could use some USM though. TFS, GIlbert
