Photographer’s Note
Northern Thailand (Chiang Khong) to Luang Prabang takes two days by slow boat.
The first evening is spent at the small town/village of Pak Beng. This can be a great time to chill out and relax with new friends made on the journey.
A word of warning -- the seats on the boat are as uncomfortable as you will ever find. An inflatable cushion is a great idea!

Great shot- the set up of this is lovely with our view on the man, while we get an idea of what he's looking at. I like the red of his shirt jumping out from the earth tone surroundings. Good work!

depends on the boat, the one i took (just 7 days after this was taken) had comfy cushions. also if you don't smoke weed, (or at least are smart enough to abstain while in sea) i recommend wearing a "no pot thank you!" t-shirt in pak beng :-)

As soon as I saw the photo, i recognized the river and laos... an inimitable sight and such an excellent souvenir! (for the mind, not for the arse, i must admit! haha!)

Gosto desse enquadramewnto, o ponto de vista otimiza a cena. As cores, contrastes e texturas são bem naturais transmitindo uma otima sensação realista.
Um grande abraço.
