This small boy looked at me as if I was a yeti - very very shy but at the same time curious. He was the son of the woman with the pibe from my picture "My unforgettable day in Laos I". To know why it was an unforgettable day, you can click here

Hi Tina, I think this is your best portrait, absolutely lovely work! I like the tight crop and your choice for B/W. The look in this child's eyes is really moving; the mix of curiosity and a little fear is so charming. It seems like you had a fantastic experience as well that day. Superb work! Sabine

Hi Tina
Very intensive regard.
I like this small face and the shy you captured.
The B and W is well done.
Beautifull one !

This is simply a great portrait.. u could veru well capture the mood of this little boy here.. his eyes are glowing.. i love it..

And you say you are runiing out...savign teh best till last. This is without doubt one of your best portraits. The choice to convert to B&W - excellent, the sharpness, focus and light in his eyes - excellent, his shy expression - excellent. the framing - excellent....need I go on........... just very lovely, Tina.

Tina, this is a superb portrait! Well composed, cropped. The boy's big, black, glassy eyes really draw attention to him. The rubber band he's playing with, and the drip running down his nose really shows his age, curiosity, and innocence. Well done!

Hi Tina,
Great picture! My congrats. May be it'd be more dramatic to crop a bit from top. So big eyes looking right into the lens - that's amazing! TFS and regards. Denis.

This is as unforgetable image. The gaze of mixed emotions .. this is ur best potrait shot. -Devjit-

Stunning capture of this little boy. The eyes are unforgettable, it kind of reminds me of that Time Magazine cover of the girl from Afghanistan! Well done, straight to my favs.

A beautiful close up of a child. I find the reflection from his dark eyes also very nice. I am also in favour of cropping just a bit of the head to put more attention on the eyes which I think communicate strongly in intimate close ups like yours...

You made a very touchy note on picture of his mom and you made a touchy picture on this one. Great!

Hola Tina,

Hi Tina,

Usually I'm not fan of portrait on TE as I prefer landscape picture but this one is so great !!! The eyes of this boy are so impressive and your BW traitment is really a good choice.

Regards.

Yves

Hola Tina, excellent capture in B/W, the light from down in this photo is a delight, the resistances and the infinite range of grays makes of this work a small "Masterpiece".
The glance of the timid and peculiar boy between gives to the finished composition a magnificent one him that moves to me.
