Snapping the snappers:

Incoherent rambling of would be LP snappers! Locking the focus on those happy triggers at work who probably want the perfect memory was great fun indeed to say the least and in the real world to chuckle at. I used this opportunity to grab those moments of the artists in action to provide a nice counterpoint.

As evening approaches, one popular activity for visitors to Luang Prabang is to climb around 300 steps to the top of Mount Phu Si - the best vantage point to watch the amazing sunset over the town and the Mekong. It can be pretty crowded up there but it's pleasant and fun nonetheless. There are also great views on the other side of the hill, overlooking the Nam Khan River and out into the verdant and vast Lao jungle. The sunsets here, like so much of Southeast Asia, can be very spectacular notable for its romantic and magical appeal if the weather is right.

What excuses are there to not make the exhausting climb to the top for a view of once in a lifetime experience...
