Today I want to show you 3 photos from Laos.
I am tired and I can't make a choice which photo is Number One and what I could be place to the Workshop.
I will be glad to hear your opinion too.
When we came to laos from Thailand I took a boat with this young captain for a short (one hour) trip on the Mekong river.

Nice pov creating geometric figures all over. In midst of them, the boatman with red shirt, catches immediate attention.
The boats are splendid. And so is the scenery.
All the images are so nicely composed with wonderful colors, they are all number one.

Hi dear Serghei, how are you recently?
Ya great angle setting, makes me remind of nostalgy there so much. Perfect framework and the best condition as usual.
All the best and have a good Saturday! Takero from cold Tokyo

I like the main photo the best. :-) I like that the top and bottom of the boat match the top and bottom of the frame. The wooden lines of the boat lead us nicely to the captain, and the blue color is bright and attractive.

I think all three images are certainly worth seen and you've made the right decision to post this picture here as the main photograph.
You've composed it well.
I really like the soft light that creates already warm tones on the wooden bottom of the boat while the view outside is still very misty.
Best regards, Paul

Hello Seghei - I was only saying to Lisa today that I thought it was time for me to return to SE Asia and here you post a trio of shots that remind me of a fantastic trip we had down the Mekong from Huay Xay to Luang Prabang. All three shots bring back wonderful memories for me, we crossed over to Laos from Thailand exactly in this area. Your main shot is strongly composed and I like the way I feel as if I am sitting in the long tail. Thanks for sharing these, they were a pleasure to view. Warm regards Rosemary

A return to Laos, quite literally as you share with us the mode of transport used, we can feel we are really there! I love the three images you have shared here today, they all compliment each other well, and give a wonderful sense to this place. There is something about the main post above that my eyes seem to be able to see the boat moving, if I look long enough, it seems to be bobbing up and down! Great post, thanks as always

You offer an interesting trio here. I guess the landscape is most typical TE choice. Boats shot is most my style as showing a detailed view of local manner of transport. But I think this is the best one. A cool portrait of a man in his work. Boat offers good framing. And moist climate of Laos is evident in the background.

This is a nice photo and probably the most original composition of the three. There is a fine depth created by the rows of blue seats, and their colour makes a nice contrast to the man's red shirt. I was here 40 years ago and the view across the river looks quite the same, although there seems to have been some development of course.

Excellently composed photo with nice details, well balanced colors, perfect light, very good clarity. The well-chosen tight crop eliminates all unwanted distractions. Well done.

all 3 images have a charm and merit a place here, but I think this is the one that works the best for me. It is a clever and enticing composition with superb colours and textures and a real sense of the character and warmth of the place.
Not snowing here, but tipping down with rain!

Serghei, my frigid friend...how are you doing? Wow, no wonder you've been wanting to relive the warmer days and memories of your travels! Holy cow, forget about the poor car...how is the computer even still running and staying warm so that you can continue to post pictures? haha I don't mean to make matters worse for you, but today we reached a temperature of 25c....come on back to Arizona! :)
I had to trace back a bit to this picture, I love the tunnel effect from this composition. You've wisely used the natural design of the boat to create a wonderful perspective, and have a terrific focal point with the captain. The blue/red color combination is always a pleasing one too, accented by the yellow base boards. Thanks for taking us along for the ride, feels like I'm sitting there myself.
Sending you warm wishes, stay inside by the heater! :)
Take good care amigo,

I think you made the right choice for the main entry if you had to choose one. All three are good enough to be main entries. The red t-shirt on the blue boards stands out quite well.
