Bravo. Great light, beautiful overall tones, excellent composition/framing, nice DOF and background, great expression/pose. Works very well with your previous posting. One of the best portraits I´ve seen on TE.

Usually I'm not very enthusiastic about close portraits because it too often focuses on personnal characteristics (oooh cute eyes, aaah smooth skin, uuuuh white hair) with no added value... which has nothing to do with photography IMHO.

But here, I have to say your composition is simply out of this world, you managed to get a very interesting triangle (or 3 branch star) with a simple move of his hands. It pleases my eyes and mind not to have to assess his face or look but instead a real timing that you caught... which is... perfect!

A pick about the color : too mellow. Perhaps this is taken in the golden sunset hour but this is really too much.
