Photographer’s Note

Savannakhet has lots of smiles, lots of nice people, and lots of children! I found Laos to be a peaceful place, quiet, easy to stay in. If I had not been robbed of almost every penny I had from my room, I would have stayed here till my visa expired. I was enjoying the peace. Crime rate in Laos is the lowest of all South Eastern Asia countries. Just my bad luck!

a beautiful natural pose of happiness. it's such a wonder that the aer so many who can live with so little yet feel so contented. that is the true bliss of living, to appreciate simple things, not to chase for materials things.

What adorable little kids! I am surprise how well dressed and "western" their clothes look. I would not have guessed Laos. I did not go to the south though.
