Vang Vieng is one of the most beautiful and relaxing places I have ever visited. So much of life consists around the river and fishing is an obvious past time and source of income for local people.

I spent five minutes running along the river bank as I wanted to take a photo of the fisherman at the moment he cast his net.

This image is from a scanned photo taken on a Canon EOS in 2001.

Hi Michele;
Everything in your pic is perfect, light, POV, compo and action, you captured the right moment. I really like the film color.
It should have been given more attention of viewers. I don't know why some (to my viewpoint) are some kind of rubbish but people rush to point.
